As part of the « Child-Friendly Municipality » initiative, funded by UNICEF and implemented by the Djohong Municipality under the administrative supervision of the Regional Delegation for the Promotion of Women and the Family, Community-Based Organizations in the Djohong Municipality received significant support on November 26, 2025.
This support included chicks necessary for broiler chicken production and improved seeds for vegetable farming.
The main beneficiaries were women’s associations such as DAÏ-KORA, MAN MBOUM, the Women in Solidarity of Djohong, and the Mbororo Women. Each received thirteen chicks, equipment for broiler chicken production, and improved seeds for vegetable farming.
